Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyard (Temecula)

Laughter, the clink of wine glasses, and children’s squeals fill the air as soon as you walk onto the beautiful grounds of Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyard. As you look around this family friendly winery, an undeniable sense of excitement can be seen on the faces of guests from 3 to 93.  Gerry & Rosie Wilson (with Molly)

Wilson creek has been family owned and operated since 1995, when retired Air Force Veteran Gerry and wife Rosie (a retired teacher) moved from South Pasadena to tranquil Temecula. The original goal was to find a nice place for their rapidly expanding family, while making a little bit of wine on the side. Wilson Creek officially opened in April 2000, making 2,000 cases of wine a year. Today they make 40,000+ cases of wine yearly to a large (and always increasing) fan base, winning multiple awards at various competitions and have been named “Business of the Year” 4 times by the Temecula Chamber of Commerce . They are also the ones to begin the Almond Champagne craze!

Bill WilsonEven with all the accolades under their belt, the Wilson family is proudest of making quality wine in a close-knit community with 3 generations of family. Their sense of family is also felt by employees. Wendy Holder-Nighswonger, Marketing Director, says “Even though I wasn’t born a Wilson, I still feel like I’m part of the family!”

Led by Executive Chef Steve Stawinski, you can expect amazing options such as the Kobe burger,  Jalapeno Lime Shrimp Ceviche, Salmon Tartar Sunomono, and the Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sandwich.
