It’s 1947 post-war New York and, by chance, Kris Kringle lands a job as Macy’s Santa, unleashing waves of good will throughout the Big Apple—even inciting a dash of magic in the heart of a very practical little girl. When the Macy’s vocational “counselor” brands Kris as deluded and dangerous, the jolly saint ends up in a court competency hearing where both his freedom and the joys of childhood fantasy are at stake. This is a tale we all want to believe in—where love, decency, and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. Share this perennial holiday favorite with the entre family this season!
