Spring has official sprung in the Inland Empire, and to welcome this wonderful season, Victoria Gardens is throwing a whimsically fun Mad Hatter Tea Party– themed family event on Saturday, April 19, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This special event will include a wide variety of fun activities and prizes for children, including a special one day appearance and photos with the White Rabbit!
“Whether celebrating a merry ‘unbirthday’ or just looking to take part in some springtime fun, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will offer children a variety of games, prizes, and crafts to enjoy,” says Melina Ferraez, Director of Marketing for Victoria Gardens. “As the weather warms up and we enter the new Spring season, there’s no better time for families to spend the day together in a fun and imaginative setting. Parents will have the opportunity to capture a fun Spring moment with a special photo of their child with the White Rabbit. This year’s photo backdrop will also have the whimsical Mad Hatter Tea Party theme.”
Parents are invited to take a photo of their child with the mysterious White Rabbit using their own cameras in front of the special backdrop. While no professional photographer will be present, parents who are interested are welcome to use their own camera, according to Ferraez.
To coincide with the event’s Mad Hatter Tea Party theme, cookies and tea will be provided by Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to each child attending. In addition, all children in attendance will be invited to decorate a special Mad Hatter style hat, which they can enjoy wearing throughout the event.
For more Spring fun, children will also be invited to participate in bunny-themed games such as bunny lawn bowling, bunny croquet and bunny guessing games. These games will feature fun prizes such as books, eggs stuffed with candy, small toys, and even the opportunity to win $10 Victoria Gardens’ gift cards.
The Mad Hatter Tea Party event is free for children ages 3 to 12 years of age, but is limited to the first 400 children whose parents RSVP for them with Guest Services. Parents can RSVP for their children beginning April 4, 2014.This can be done in person by visiting the Guest Services office, or by phone at (909) 463-2829.
