Los Angeles Craft Beer Crawl 2016

Run! Walk! Crawl?

That’s what you can do on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Downtown Los Angeles when the LA Craft Beer Crawl returns to the heart of the City of Angels.

If you’ve never done the LA Craft Beer Crawl, it’s an experience any beer-loving person in SoCal should do at least once. It’s put on by 213 Hospitality, which runs several bars in Downtown LA including the famed Golden Gopher and Broadway Bar.

You check in, get a glass and a map, and have access to seven bars all serving different craft beers from 3 pm to 7 pm (2 pm to 7 pm with an early admission ticket).

All the bars are within walking distance from each other. Organizers are touting an all-time high of 50 participating breweries this year, which should leave crawlers with more than 100 different beers to taste and try at this event.

Tickets range from  $60 to $80 and are almost sold out, so act fast. There’s plenty of cool restaurants in DTLA to try after doing the crawl, from Perch, to Palm, to local taquerias.

The  2013 crawl was a two-day event instead of one. Organizers were able to reduce ticket prices and sell fewer tickets per day.

Given that this summer’s event is a one-day crawl, crowds may be bigger, but the beer should still be flowing pretty well. 213 Hospitality is known for their well-run clubs/bars.

The seven bars for this year’s event are identified on the event’s webpage, and include:
