Field of Screams, The Haunted Stadium is back and more sinister then ever, as “Sinister Valley” and The Storm have partnered to revamp the Inland Empire’s top Halloween attraction.

Sinister Valley, a local haunt duo, bring fresh energy to the haunt, with an all new terrifying experience complete with an old western town of terror featuring four all new never-before-seen mazes, characters and bone-chilling scares.

MAZES

“Hallowed Grounds”- Enter Field of Screams, and you are immediately taken through the Hallowed Grounds maze. This is a cool way to get you into the mindset that you are going from the parking lot of a baseball stadium to an old haunted mining town. Some cool lighting effects (are those geysers?), and random things popping out at you, make this amusing, but I don’t know about scary.

“The Rocking Horse Tavern” What once was a rockin’ tavern, is now left nearly abandoned and decrepit. Follow the undead town drunk deeper into the maze where some of the townfolk seem to want you dead! Not sure what it is we could have done, but they’ve taken it personally! One of the most interactive mazes they have, where nearly each room has a live actor. The actor may or may not choose to acknowledge you, and I found the ones that didn’t move or say anything more terrifying then those that did!

“Miners Paradise”– Walk through a dark and realistic looking jungle, where you suddenly feel like you’re being watched. Someone….or something…seems to be following you. Come face to face with bizarre jungle creatures hell bent on your destruction. Make sure you get out of there fast, or risk certain death. Awesome special effects in this one- you may want to go through it twice!

“Silver Bullet Outfitters Lodge”– My favorite of the night! Explore a creepy old lodge, which will have you wondering why you didn’t opt for the hotel. If you run out the back, you may happen upon a church in the middle of the woods, where they seem to be performing some kind of ceremony, which you just barged in on. If you’re lucky to make it out of there with your skin intact (incredibly intense scene!), now you have to deal with dense fog and the fact that everything in the forest seems to want to eat you!

Fun local type haunt, and an asset to the Inland Empire. Definitely worth the price, and not too far off the 15 freeway.
