San Marino (Just outside of Pasadena)- The Huntington Library– I won’t lie to you, if you are not a member this is pretty pricey. But this is more then just a tea…this is an entire outing. Take a tour through the beautiful and lush botanical gardens, or just relax in the brand new Japanese Garden (a $6.8 million dollar renovation!). Did you know that Thomas Gainsborough’s “Blue Boy”, the “Gutenberg Bible”, and Thomas Lawrence’s “Pinkie” are all on display at their impressive art gallery & library? Roam the grounds, and then try the “Rose Garden Tea Room”).
